What Things I Should Know Before Hiring an SEO Expert In 2019?

by Wanda Moore January 27, 2019

No one can predict or I don’t declare myself as to be an absolute SEO expert, but I have learned a few tricks and shortcuts – which I’ll be talking about ethical, effective, SEO strategies and tactics in the blog – not the sleazy and self-defeating kind that gets your site banned by Google.

Fortunately, I was gained this knowledge from hard-earned experience – by having a few run-ins with unqualified, unreliable SEO experts.

There are many fact where we can’t predict bad SEO firms out there who make impractical promises, use strange and careless methods, and causes more harm than better.

Particularly a few years ago, the field of SEO services was kind of a Wild West, with too many fly-by-night agencies claiming to be able to deliver results that were eventually indefensible as Google tweaked its algorithm.

What is the good news?

Good SEO tricks matters and it can create differences in your business results.

It is completely possible more than ever to do SEO the right way to drive improved search results along with increase in traffic to your site, without any unscrupulous tricks for the game of the search engine or Algorithm system and without making your site sound like a robot wrote it.

Through my studies the way that are valuable in helping your firm to do SEO the right way or helping your SEO consultant firm to sell your services more effectively by building trust with your prospective clients.

Below given are things I wish I had known before I hired my first SEO expert.

1. SEO Guarantees & Predictions Are frequently impractical

SEO agencies are always promising that they can bring any business in “top 10 search results on Google.”

It is unrealistic. SEO mistakes

In fact, it’s unpredictable to guarantee a top spot on Google, especially for some of the more popular and competitive search keywords. It may take time of more than 6 – 8 month and work to get your site to climb the ladder on Google. Don’t expect it to happen suddenly, and don’t trust anyone who tells you such things like they can make it happen.

2. SEO Takes Time

SEO is not something where you where put chicken in Owen & wait for the result to come on top, it’s actually an ongoing process. You require continuously modification your site and adjusting your SEO strategies, and then stay to see how Google boost your results.

It is like planting a private garden you need to plant the seeds, see which ones sprout and grow, and then you have to be likely the garden over time to maintain the development & growth you have made.

The Google algorithm are continuously learning and updating, so you’re SEO strategies need to keep adapting.

3. Don’t Worry About Keyword Density

SEO expert always tried to get me to rewrite the content for my site as if a robot could read it, and put way to a great extent focus on including a convinced percentage of keywords within the overall content. After a certain level, keyword density just starts to sound ridiculous; it changes the whole flow of your content, and makes it feel like you’re spamming your content.

Maybe this may work in past days I guess in 2009, but Google has became smarter since then. Google rank those websites that have higher quality content, where the website actually is “about” what it claims to be about you can’t just stuff your website full of “business” views & terms and expect Google guidelines to rank & send customers or traffic to you. By any means, consider keywords and try to target those keywords that are significant for your business.

4. Quality Links, Not Quantity Links

SEO services game is all about getting lots of back-links to the sites, even if you had to pay for links from the dark corners of the Internet.

The truth is: low-quality links are considered as a loser’s game.

Getting tons of links from lower-ranked sites are in fact bad. Today, you expect really good content that people want to read and share from your site.

Work hard to get a few good back-links from well-respected sites (like Search Engine Journal, Moz etc) than to scrape the bottom of the barrel with an outdated link-building strategy.

5. Want Quick Results? Use Google Ads

If you looking for immediate boost in your business through SEO, I would suggest you buy Google Ads for your most important search terms. This puts you at the top of the listings right away.

This is the only reason why Google gets most of its revenue from paid search ads: they work.

Check out the Google Ads Keyword Planner tool to get started. Keep experimenting and learning. Try new things and see what gets results.
